The Defense Department inspector general recently announced plans to review if the Army "properly awarded and administered firm fixed-price level of effort term contracts" in accordance with acquisition regulations.
The review will begin this month, according to a memo by Michael Roark, the assistant inspector general for contract management and payments.
Among the locations to be audited are the Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal, AL, and the Medical Research Acquisition Activity, Ft. Detrick, MD.
