DOD releases Carter's 'exit memo'

The Pentagon this morning released a memo signed by Defense Secretary Ash Carter outlining the Defense Department's accomplishments over the eight years of President Obama's time in office.

"While the next Administration will continue to be challenged by an evolving security environment, I am confident that our military is up to the task of protecting our nation in the years ahead," Carter's memo states.
