DOD seeks $23B for military intelligence

The Defense Department is requesting $23 billion for its military intelligence program in fiscal year 2021, according to a Pentagon statement.

The total request, which is classified, includes both base budget and Overseas Contingency Operations spending.

The Pentagon requested nearly $23 billion for military intelligence in FY-20. In FY-19, DOD spent $21.5 billion, down from the $22 billion spent in FY-18.
