ERCA industry day pushed to January

The Army has moved an industry day for the Extended Range Cannon Artillery Increment 2 program to the week of Jan. 13, according to a recent notice.

The event, originally planned for Nov. 26, will be the first in a series of engagements through the second quarter of fiscal year 2020.

The industry day will cover an operational overview, acquisition strategy overview, key system capabilities and the development efforts of the Army's Armaments Center.

The updated notice says a request for prototype proposals is still expected in April, leading to an other transaction agreement for follow-on production of about 200 vehicles.
