Former Pentagon acquisition chief joins AAR board

Aviation services company AAR said today it has named former Pentagon acquisition chief Ellen Lord to its board of directors, effective immediately.

Lord, who is now working as an independent consultant, was under secretary of defense for acquisition and sustainment from 2017 until 2021. She previously was chief executive of Textron Systems.

AAR said it will benefit from her aerospace and defense expertise.
