The Government Accountability Office has dismissed a bid protest over the Army's Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services program, a contract vehicle worth up to $37.4 billion.

Proteus Technologies lodged its protest with GAO May 26, following the May 15 award of the vehicle to 55 companies. The contract vehicle is designed to provide "knowledge-based professional services for programs with command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance related requirements."

GAO dismissed the protest July 7.

"The case was dismissed because the protester did not allege sufficient facts that if true, would have led GAO to sustain its protest," Kenneth Patton, managing associate general counsel for procurement law at GAO, told Inside Defense in a July 10 email.

Should the company opt to press the matter, Patton said, "our regulations provide that Proteus has 10 days from the date of our dismissal to request a reconsideration of the decision."
