Highlights from Inside the Pentagon

Here are some must-reads from this week's edition of Inside the Pentagon:

1. The Defense Department is embarking on what could be among the most complex financial audits in history, involving approximately $2.4 trillion in assets and more than 1,000 auditors, according to Pentagon Comptroller David Norquist.

2. The Pentagon's algorithmic warfare cross-functional team will deliver the first algorithms for automating the processing, exploitation and dissemination of full-motion video data to teams in the Middle East and Africa this December, as the general heading up the project has his sights set on being a "pathfinder" for spreading artificial intelligence technologies throughout the Defense Department.
