Huntington Ingalls says board chairman will retire

Huntington Ingalls Industries said today retired Adm. Thomas Fargo, chairman of HII's board of directors, will retire after the next annual meeting of shareholders, slated for April 28.

The board has elected retired Adm. Kirkland Donald as the new chairman, effective the same day.

Fargo has served as chairman since 2011.
