Iyer picked to lead IAI North America

Israel Aerospace Industries said today it has named Swami Iyer chief executive of its U.S. subsidiary, known as IAI North America.

Iyer "will be responsible for all IAI operations in North America, including its subsidiaries Stark and ELTA North America," the company said.

He previously served as president of Ultra Electronics, 3eTI, and as vice president of defense and space at Honeywell Aerospace, IAI said. Iyer also was a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force.
