Kratos reports increased sales, profit

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions this week said sales in its most recent quarter reached $188 million, up 24% from the same three-month period a year earlier.

About $17 million of the nearly $37 million in increased sales was related to the company’s acquisition of Florida Turbine Technologies.

Kratos said quarterly sales in its unmanned systems division grew 19%.

The contractor's quarterly profit hit $3.9 million, up from a $7.7 million loss a year earlier.
