Kratos Defense & Security Solutions said this week sales in its most recent quarter totaled $184 million, up about 15% from the same three-month period a year earlier.
The company's quarterly profit hit $2.5 million, up 47% from the prior year.
Kratos noted that its unmanned systems division recorded quarterly sales of $46 million, up about 37% from the prior year. The unit's quarterly profit grew 230% from a year earlier.
Meanwhile, Vectrus this week said sales in its most recent quarter reached $360 million, up 17% from the prior year.
Vectrus attributed the growth to increases in programs in the Middle East and Europe as well as its acquisition of Advantor, which added $10 million.
The company's quarterly profit hit $9.4 million, down about 5% from a year earlier.
