L3 Technologies said today it has named Sean Stackley, the former Navy acquisition chief, corporate vice president for strategic advanced programs and technology.
“In this newly created position, Mr. Stackley will focus on growth plans that align technology investments with strategy, pursuit planning, and mergers and acquisitions,” the company said.
Stackley was assistant secretary of the Navy for research, development and acquisition from 2008 to 2017. He also served as acting Navy secretary and as an adviser to the under secretary of defense for acquisition, technology and logistics before joining L3.
Stackley also previously worked as a professional staff member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
