Leidos hires Bender

Leidos said today it has named retired Air Force Lt. Gen. William Bender strategic account executive for government relations, effective immediately.

"In his role, General Bender will be responsible for strengthening and advancing trusted relationships with customers and advancing strategic initiatives to foster organic growth," the company said.

Bender most recently served as chief information officer for the Air Force. He has also served as the deputy chief of the Office of Security Cooperation-Iraq, Leidos said.
