Mercury acquires Pentek

Mercury Systems said today it has acquired Pentek Technologies and Pentek Systems, Upper Saddle River, NJ-based businesses specializing in ruggedized, commercial off-the-shelf software-defined radio and data acquisition boards, recording systems and subsystems.

Mercury paid $65 million for Pentek, which is expected to produce sales of about $20 million in its next fiscal year.

Mercury said the deal adds breadth to its mixed-signal product portfolio.
