The Navy plans to host several industry days next month for its Information Warfare Research Project.

According to a recent government notice, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific and Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic will convene companies for the digital industry days from June 8 through June 11.

"The event will include briefings on the IWRP, Consortium Operations, presentation of Technical Briefs, and one-on-one break-out teleconferences," the notice reads.

The Navy will provide briefings on 10 different topics, ranging from a "legal and Law Enforcement System" to a "Buoy Launch Control System."

"It is anticipated that the topics will be the basis of upcoming Request for Prototype Projects (RPP) to IWRP Consortium Members," the notice continues.

The Navy is slated to ask for 10 RPPs centered on the 10 topics for either "white papers, enhanced white papers or full proposals."

Those who want additional information about the 10 topics must join the IWRP Consortium, according to the notice.

"The government is seeking to prototype a re-design of a legacy submarine launcher control system for communications buoys," the notice says of the buoy launch control system.
