The Navy is set to receive the final two MH-60R helicopters by the end of the year, marking on-time delivery for the last batch of MH-60Rs.
The Navy has received six of the final eight MH-60Rs and are on track to receive the remaining two helicopters by the end of the calendar year, program spokeswoman Megan Wasel said.
The Navy awarded Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems a $392 million contract for eight MH-60Rs in November 2018, with delivery expected this year.
When the deliveries are finished, the service will have received a total of 288 MH-60Rs. Development and procurement costs for the program, which started in 2004, total $13 billion.
