The National Defense Industrial Association said today it has named retired Army Maj. Gen. Jim Boozer chief of staff.

"In this role, Boozer will oversee the program operations of the 70-plus employee headquarters," NDIA said. "He will help direct NDIA with its policies, practices, products and events for its more than 1,600 corporate and more than 80,000 individual members."

Boozer last served as commander of U.S. Army Japan and I Corps (Forward), NDIA said. He also previously was deputy commanding general of U.S. Army Europe and operations director for the assistant chief of staff for installation management command.
