The losing bidder on the Navy's multibillion-dollar Next-Generation Enterprise Network filed a protest today on the contact award, according to a company spokeswoman.
"[Computer Sciences Corp.] has filed a protest with the [Government Accountability Office] regarding the recent award of the NGEN contract," CSC spokeswoman Heather William wrote in a statement issued today. "We are unable to provide additional information while the protest is pending."
Two teams competed for the $3.4 billion dollar NGEN contract. The winning Hewlett Packard-led team includes Northrop Grumman, IBM Business Services Federal, Lockheed Martin and AT&T. CSC's team included Harris Corp., General Dynamics Information Technology and Verizon.
