Noblis acquires McKean Defense

Noblis said today it has acquired McKean Defense as well as affiliates Mikros Systems and Cabrillo Technologies, expanding Noblis' defense work.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Philadelphia-based McKean Defense specializes in Navy surface ship readiness, modernization, sustainment and integration, Noblis said. The company said it is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Noblis, and its name will be announced in the future.

Glenn Hickok, who heads Noblis' defense mission area, is now president of the subsidiary, in addition to his existing role. McKean's chief executive, Joseph Carlini, will serve as a strategic adviser during the integration.
