Northrop Grumman said this week it has named Chris Deeble chief executive of Northrop Grumman Australia.

Deeble will be “responsible for supporting the company’s longstanding programs in Australia, as well as exploring new business pursuits,” the contractor said.

He previously worked for Airservices Australia as program executive for OneSKY. Deeble also spent 37 years in the Australian Defence Force and oversaw multiple programs, including the Joint Strike Fighter, according to Northrop.

Deeble succeeds Warren King, the interim chief executive, who will continue to serve as chairman of Northrop Grumman Australia's advisory board.
