PAE agrees to acquire CENTRA Technology

PAE said today it has agreed to pay $208 million in cash for CENTRA Technology, which specializes in intelligence support, information analytics and engineering services.

CENTRA, based in Burlington, MA, has more than 760 employees, a majority of whom have top-secret clearances. The company counts among its customers intelligence agencies, the Defense Department and the Department of Homeland Security.

PAE said the deal will increase the size of its addressable market by about $36 billion in annual spending and bring new technology offerings to its portfolio.

The transaction is slated to close by the end of the year.
