Team Redstone hosting virtual FY-21 advance planning briefings for industry

The Army Aviation and Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal, AL, will host in March a series of virtual fiscal year 2021 advance planning briefings for industry to discuss "modernized sustainment concepts to enable large-scale combat operations," according to a notice posted today.

The notice says the all-day meetings will be held March 9 through March 11 using Microsoft Teams.

"Our event will focus on Team Redstone's core technical capabilities, acquisition needs and future opportunities," according to the notice. "Team Redstone leaders and subject matter experts will deliver presentations and conclude with question-and-answer sessions."

The organizations that make up Team Redstone include Army Aviation and Missile Command; Army Materiel Command; NASA; Army Aviation, Missile, Research, Development and Engineering Center; and the service's program executive offices for aviation and missiles and space.

During the first meeting, industry will hear Team Redstone presentations and panel discussions, followed by a Small Business Forum on March 10 with guest speakers and introductions to major manufacturers already doing business with Redstone Arsenal organizations.

Interested industry should register by March 8.
