Vectrus said this week it has acquired SENTEL, which specializes in logistics and supply chain management, engineering and advanced technology and intelligence mission support.

"The acquisition advances Vectrus' strategy to be a leader in the converging physical and digital infrastructure market [and] enhances the company's logistics, IT and technical solutions capabilities, while expanding the Vectrus client base," the company said, noting it will particularly give Vectrus access to intelligence agency customers.

SENTEL, which is based in Alexandria, VA, has more than 600 employees and generated revenue of $107 million in its most recent fiscal year. It counts among its clients the Army, intelligence agencies, the Navy, the Air Force, the Federal Aviation Administration and the IRS.

Vectrus said it paid $36 million for SENTEL.
