Vectrus reports higher sales, lower profit

Vectrus said this week sales in its most recent quarter hit $331 million, up 3% from the same three-month period a year earlier.

The company attributed the boost to increases on programs in the Middle East and Europe.

Vectrus said quarterly profit hit $7.6 million, down 17% from the prior year. The company said its costs during the quarter related to mergers and acquisitions and LOGCAP V pre-operational legal efforts totaled $1.2 million.
