Senior Pentagon officials are scheduled to appear at several events and conferences in the Washington area this week, while nominees for top Defense Department posts are slated to appear on Capitol Hill.

Monday

The Brookings Institution hosts a conference on U.S. military readiness.

DynCorp International executives are slated to discuss the contractor's quarterly earnings.

The Center for Strategic and International Studies hosts a conference on preparing military leadership for the future.

Tuesday

The Senate Armed Services Committee will hear from nominees for principal deputy under secretary of defense for personnel and readiness, general counsel of the Army and judge on the United States Court Of Appeals For The Armed Forces.

The Logistics Officer Symposium begins at National Habor, MD, and runs through Friday.

Wednesday

New America hosts the Special Operations Policy forum featuring senior lawmakers and Pentagon officials.

The chief of U.S. Transportation Command speaks at an Air Force Association breakfast in Washington.

Leidos is set to present at a Goldman Sachs conference.

Thursday

The Senate Armed Services Committee will hear from nominees for under secretary of defense for policy and assistant secretary of defense for Asian and Pacific affairs.

Friday

Air Force Secretary Heather Wilson is scheduled to speak at the Logistics Officer Symposium at National Harbor, MD.
