The White House is set to release its fiscal year 2022 defense budget request on Friday, while senior defense officials and several of President Biden's Pentagon nominees are slated to appear before Congress.

Monday

The House Armed Services strategic forces subcommittee holds a hearing on national security space programs.

Tuesday

The Senate Armed Services Committee holds a hearing to consider nominees for Air Force secretary, under secretary of defense for research and engineering, and director of cost assessment and program evaluation.

CACI International and KBR executives are slated to present at a Jefferies conference.

The Hudson Institute hosts a discussion with the chief of U.S. Transportation Command.

The Center for a New American Security hosts a "fireside chat" with the Air Force chief of staff.

Wednesday

The Senate Armed Services strategic forces subcommittee holds a hearing on national security space operations, policy and programs.

Thursday

The House Appropriations defense subcommittee holds a hearing to discuss the fiscal year 2022 defense budget.

The Senate Armed Services Committee holds a hearing to consider nominees for assistant secretary of defense for special operations and low-intensity conflict, ASD for nuclear, chemical, and biological defense programs, chief of the Energy Department's National Nuclear Security Administration, and principal deputy administrator of the NNSA.

The House Armed Services tactical air and land forces subcommittee holds a hearing on Army tactical wheeled vehicles.

Friday

The Biden administration releases its fiscal year 2022 budget request.

The Hudson Institute hosts a discussion with acting Army Secretary John Whitley.
