Senior defense officials are slated to speak at several events this week and some will appear on Capitol Hill as "posture season" begins to move into full swing.

Tuesday

The Senate Armed Services Committee holds a hearing with the chiefs of U.S. Central Command and U.S. Africa Command.

The Hudson Institute hosts a discussion with Army Secretary Christine Wormuth and Army Chief of Staff Gen. James McConnville on the future of the service in the Indo-Pacific region.

The National Defense Industrial Association holds its annual National Logistics Forum beginning on Tuesday.

Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics, Leidos, Aerojet Rocketdyne and Mercury Systems are among the companies that will be presenting at the J.P. Morgan Industrials Conference that starts on Tuesday.

Wednesday

The House Armed Services Committee holds a hearing on U.S. national security challenges and military activity in Europe.

The House Armed Services readiness subcommittee holds a hearing on DOD energy, installations and environment.

The Senate Armed Services personnel subcommittee holds a hearing on exposure from military burn pits.

The Center for Strategic and International Studies hosts a discussion with four former NATO supreme allied commanders.

Thursday

The House Armed Services Committee holds a hearing on the Middle East and Africa.

The House Armed Services intelligence and special operations subcommittee holds a hearing on defense intelligence posture.
