1. As the Air Force looks ahead to F-35 initial operational capability next summer, the first cadre of F-35 maintainers at Hill Air Force Base, UT, are working to build the foundation for the unit's maintenance program.

2. The Air Force has completed the system requirements review for its Combat Rescue Helicopter and is working toward a preliminary design review next year.
