White House announces nominees for key Space Force posts

The White House this week announced four nominees for Space Force leadership positions to be considered by the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Nominees include Maj. Gen. Nina Armagno for director of staff in the chief of space operations office; Maj. Gen. William Liquori for deputy chief of space operations for strategy, plans, programs, requirements and analysis; Maj. Gen. Bradley Saltzman for deputy chief of space operations for cyber and nuclear programs; and Maj. Gen. Stephen Whiting for commander of Space Operations Command, one of three new Space Force field commands.

All four nominees are up for promotion to the rank of lieutenant general.
