Shon Manasco, former executive vice president and chief administrative officer at the United Services Automobile Association, has been nominated to serve as the Air Force's assistant secretary for manpower and reserve affairs, according to a White House statement issued Friday.

Manasco, of Texas, worked at USAA until August 2016, according to his LinkedIn profile. As chief administrative officer, he "was responsible for leading the association's business solutions, information technology, and innovation organizations, as well as corporate services, enterprise cyber and physical security, procurement and business alliances," the White House said.
