Bond Letter To Gates, Clinton On Missouri National Guard Model In Afghanistan

On Dec. 3, 2009, Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Kit Bond (R-MO) urged Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Defense Secretary Robert Gates to "adopt the successful Missouri National Guard model to improve agriculture, create alternatives to extremism, and build stability in Afghanistan."
