AFA Letter To Senators On F-35 Fighter, KC-46 Tanker Funding

In a Jan. 25, 2012, letter signed by a distinguished group of retirees -- among them two former Air Force secretaries -- to Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin (D-MI) and John McCain (R-AZ), the Air Force Association writes that it supports President Obama's intention to shift the Defense Department's focus from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to a broader set of threats and challenges.
