Force Structure Review Will Address Amphibious Ship Requirement

The ongoing Marine Corps force structure review will question whether 33 amphibious ships is enough to meet the service's expeditionary needs, as well as whether the service has the resources to carry out an amphibious mission, President Obama's nominee to be the next Marine Corps commandant told lawmakers last week.
