Carlyle To Acquire Novetta

The Carlyle Group, a private-equity firm, said today it has agreed to buy Novetta, a contractor specializing in analytics, from private-equity firm Arlington Capital Partners.

Novetta was created in 2012 when Arlington Capital Partners merged White Oak Technologies with FGM. The company has made several acquisitions since, adding White Cliffs Consulting, Global News Intelligence, SigInt Technologies, Digital Results Group and Sentinel Applied Analytics.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to close later this year.
