Eying Russia, Lithuania to decide about new combat vehicles next month

Lithuanian defense officials are expected to decide in early December which type of infantry fighting vehicle the government will buy, according to an official at the country's embassy in Washington. Col. Juozas Kacergius, the defense attache, told Inside the Army that "what's been going on around Lithuania" -- a reference to Russian military advances in Ukraine -- has leaders of the Baltic nation "very concerned."
