Senate hearing on deputy comptroller, ASDR&E nominations

On Nov. 19, 2015, the Senate Armed Services Committee held a hearing to consider the nominations of John Conger to become the next deputy Pentagon comptroller, Stephen Welby to become the next assistant secretary of defense for research and engineering, Alissa Starzak to become Army general counsel, and Franklin Parker to become assistant Navy secretary for manpower and reserve affairs.
