Missile Defense Agency plans new non-intercept flight test in January

The Missile Defense Agency will hold a Ground-based Midcourse Defense program test later this month, according to its director. During a Jan. 19 event hosted by the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Vice Adm. James Syring announced that MDA would conduct a non-intercept flight test -- dubbed Controlled Test Vehicle (CTV)-02+ -- in January 2016.
