Army expands MRAP upgrade program

The Army has increased the number of MaxxPro Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles slated for upgrade to the newest configuration standard, according to a notice filed Feb. 19 on the Federal Business Opportunities website. Officials have updated an existing contract with Navistar Defense to include an additional 450 vehicles -- 200 via a base award and 250 through an option award.
