Centerra Group said today it has acquired The Development Initiative, which provides commercial and humanitarian landmine clearance, unexploded ordnance disposal, training and remote logistics solutions.
Centerra said TDI would become a subsidiary and continue to operate semi-autonomously out of its headquarters in Zimbabwe. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Centerra Group was created in late 2014 after security contractor G4S Government Solutions was bought by a private-equity firm and renamed.
