Funding uncertainty could pose schedule risk to ITEP

The Army’s Improved Turbine Engine Program is “on schedule,” but fiscal uncertainty poses some risk, according to program officials. During an Aug. 31 call with reporters, Lt. Col. Curt Kuetemeyer, ITEP product manager, said the program is “fully funded.” However, congressional appropriators are at odds over funding levels for the program.
