Results of Boeing reviews may change presidential aircraft requirements

Boeing's current risk-reduction work on the Presidential Aircraft Recapitalization program could further shape the Air Force's requirements, if different designs lower the program's risk and life cycle costs, according to an Air Force spokesman. The company is studying the aircraft's passenger accommodation layout, system specifications, environmental controls, interior, electrical power system, sustainment and maintenance, and could expand their analysis to include other features.
