Army official outlines advances in cyber, electronic warfare capabilities

The Army is moving forward with steps to improve its cyber capabilities while also developing electronic warfare capabilities, according to the head of the service's cyber directorate. Brig. Gen. Patricia Frost told reporters during a Feb. 8 roundtable that the Army currently has over 1,200 soldiers in its 17-series cyber career field, though the cyber mission force also includes other military occupational specialties.
