Outgoing ACC chief maintains push for bigger F-35 buy

Outgoing Air Combat Command chief Gen. Herbert Carlisle recently reiterated his position that the Air Force should ramp up its F-35A buy rate to 60 jets per year as soon as possible, despite calls from others within the service to maintain the planned rate through fiscal year 2022.
