CYBERCOM seeks funding increase in new budget request

The head of U.S. Cyber Command said his organization is seeking an increase in funding in the fiscal year 2018 budget request, in part to elevate CYBERCOM to a full-fledged combatant command. The $647 million request represents a nearly 16 percent increase above the FY-17 funding for his command, Adm. Mike Rogers said May 23.
