Air Force awards Lockheed's first LRASM production contract

Lockheed Martin inked the $86.5 million sole-source production contract for its first lot of Long-Range Anti-Ship Missiles this week, according to a July 26 company press release. Twenty-three precision-guided missiles will be built at Lockheed's missiles and fire control facility in Orlando, FL, and delivered by October 2019, a July 25 Defense Department contract announcement said.
