Polaris Alpha said today it bought Denver-based Solidyn Solutions late last month to bolster its space work.
Solidyn, the company said, offers satellite mission management, command and control systems, virtualization and cloud computing and large-scale data processing systems to defense and intelligence agencies. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As part of the deal, Michael Pearson, co-owner and president of Solidyn, and Andrew Marshall, co-owner and vice president of Solidyn, will join Polaris Alpha's management team. Each will be a senior vice president within the contractor's mission solutions business unit.
Polaris Alpha was formed last year when private-equity firm Arlington Capital Partners merged EOIR Technologies with Intelligent Software Solutions and PROTEUS Technologies.
