Pentagon embarking on $2 trillion audit

The Defense Department continues to move from "audit readiness" toward a full audit in fiscal year 2018, according to a recent report to Congress. "This will be the last Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) Report focused on 'audit readiness,'" Pentagon Comptroller David Norquist writes.
