DOD IG: Navy contracting personnel failed to properly report justifications for 14 contracts

Navy contracting officials failed to properly provide required documentation justifying their use of more than a dozen single-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts, according to a Pentagon watchdog agency. Personnel at five Navy contracting offices "did not prepare or report the supporting [determination and findings (D&F)]" for 14 contracts between Oct. 1, 2014 and Dec. 20, 2016, a Feb. 1 Defense Department inspector general report found .
