In an April 27, 2018 broad agency announcement, the Missile Defense Agency "seeks advanced technologies for maturation across the Hypersonic Defense (HD) 'kill chain' (Boost, Glide, Terminal) including early identification of technologies for sensors, communication, Command & Control, Kinetic & non-kinetic effecters supporting advanced components for HD architectures."
