GAO finds Air Force helicopter acquisitions face staffing problems, cybersecurity concerns

The Air Force's two ongoing helicopter acquisitions are having trouble finding skilled workers to staff those programs as they ramp up, according to the Government Accountability Office's annual analysis of major weapon systems . Program officers for the UH-1N Huey replacement effort and Combat Rescue Helicopter procurement each told GAO they face "significant workforce risks" that hinder further progress, the April 25 report states.
